The work consists of 10 parts, which echo each other and also have their unique meanings. The yellow-green part symbolizes nature, which is based on tracing the origin and tends to detect the potential energy of human beings. The blue and purple part is derived from the first colour photo of human being, taken by Edmond Becquerel, in 1848.

In horizontal perspective, the upper part from left to right and the lower part from right to left are the “DaYou” divinatory symbol and the “TongRen” divinatory symbol of the 64 hexagrams of China, respectively，which are merged into the great harmony. This is my vision for the future society -- seeking common ground while reserving differences, and the whole world being one. The four long works in the middle which belong both divinatory symbols represent four periods of the day, also known as the Four Symbols, and the Eight Diagrams formed by water, fire, mountain and wind and thunder also exist in the future "great harmony". The medium of communication in the future will be a universal awareness of nature and the universe, which is the origin of the works.
